Training again

The next training session has been set and I have signed up to audit. I hope the instructors will be different so that I get a different point of view.
I received another strange request so I had to do some research. If he gets back with me with the info I need, I will talk to a funder. Who knows, I may do a deal soon.

Online Ads

I just bought the bullet and bought some online ads. I targeted notes this time. I think that they will be the easist to break into even though there is more competition. If this works, I will try for tax season on the e-file page.

Next Step

Just got a call from a lady about a structured settlement. No go but she got my name from someone else so the word is getting out there. Next step is to do some more marketing. I don't know if I will be spending the little money I can spare on goggle and adwords or a mai llist.

Calls

The letters went out on Monday and on Tuesday afternoon I got three phone call about them. Two might turn into deals. One required me to get ahold of a master consultant for help and he sent me a bunch of stuff that could help make marketing easier. No a bad week.

The Letters

The mailings have gone out. I don't know if they will bring business but they are a first step. It is also a point of no return. Up until now, only a few people know about McIntire Funding Center , but that has changed now. On Friday I sent 29 letters to friends and family. Today (Monday 8/1) I am mailing:

  • 37 letters to insurance agents
  • 21 letters to accountants
  • 6 letters to appraising companies
  • 43 letters to lawyers
  • 71 letters to real estate agents
  • 75 postcards to tax clients
All together about 300 pieces. Hopefully, that will get me a few phone calls for information. Now I have to work on the scripts.

P.S. I still haven't got the final word from the lawyer about the change in the notes law but I made a choice not to wait any longer. The info he has already sent say about the same thing. I don't have to be licensed if I don't handle the money and the entire note is sold. If I have to I will look into licensing.
